Short Play
Turn a script plus a character image into a multi-shot film
No film yet
Write a script and upload a character image — shots are split and assembled automaticallyWhat AI Short Play actually does
This is not a stretched text-to-video clip. You hand over a full script; the system reads it into a sequence of story beats, generates each shot and its voice-over separately, then assembles them in order. That is why the character stays consistent across shots instead of becoming a different face every five seconds.
It fits brand micro-dramas, fiction trailers, product stories and course intros — anything with a plot that has to hold together. If all you want is one showy camera move, plain AI video generation is cheaper.
Three steps to a short film
- Write the script
Up to 400 characters: who, where, and what happens. The system decides how many shots to split it into and how long each one runs.
- Upload one character image
That image defines the character's face, styling and voice, so use a clear front-facing portrait or full-body shot. One image only.
- Pick a length and generate
Choose 8–30 seconds and an aspect ratio of 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 or 3:4. Results arrive in roughly 3–15 minutes, with shots appearing one by one and keyframes previewable as they land.
How pricing works
Billed per second at 28 credits, with 720p and 1080p at the same rate. A 19-second film costs 19 × 28 = 532 credits no matter how many shots it is split into. The exact charge is shown before you submit, and a failed render is refunded in full.
Frequently asked questions
- How many character images? Can I upload several characters?
- One image, one lead character. Supporting roles are cast automatically by the model, and you cannot dictate their appearance. For multi-character control, split the story into separate runs.
- Do I set the duration or does the system plan it?
- You set it. After you pick 8–30 seconds the system distributes that budget across shots — 19 seconds becomes two shots of 10 and 9 seconds, for example. Duration also fixes the total price, so you know the cost at submission rather than after the render.
- Which aspect ratios and resolutions are supported?
- 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 and 3:4 — use 9:16 for vertical short drama. Resolution is 720p or 1080p at the same price, so 1080p is the sensible default.
- Are credits refunded if generation fails?
- Yes. Failed tasks are refunded in full automatically, no ticket needed. A task stuck in processing is closed and refunded once it passes the timeout.
